“ Despite the restaurant being busy, we were seated straight away and as always, the service is fast and efficient. The local HK milk tea had a velvety texture which I really liked, it was different to your standard milk tea. The fried egg and beef noodle was nice. The pineapple was delicious - golden, flaky bun that just melts in your mouth. However, I do think it is better to share it as the thick slab of butter that came with it was quite heavy. ”
“ Had the instant noodles with fried egg and polo bun. Also added the sweet savory chicken pie that had egg tart kind of sweetness. Paid 98 HKD for it. The polo bun was astounding, exceeded expectations, and was better than most polo buns we have tried. The satay beef sauce gave the instant noodles more favour and was a good mix as well. Toilet was clean too, and staff was friendly too (was wearing a ManU kit and the dude was prolly a fan too haha). Feel free to speak English to them. Hope to come back again in my next visit. ”
“ Famed pineapple bun is quite mediocre, not sure if the bun was just stale but it was very dense and the dough overtly sweet (no contrast with the sweet crackly topping). Lovely fried eggs though. What was phenomenal is their egg tarts. Fresh out the oven at 9am and truly unbeatable. Soft, butter flaky crust with a giggly, custard that’s egg-forward but not overwhelmingly so. Perfect! $9 too is a steal. ”

“ Staying at Hopewell Hotel and this lovely Hk style cafe is nearby. It is recommended by my Hk family so we went in to try after queuing up during lunch time about 15 mins. It took no time from order to foods on the table! Satay beef instant noodles tasted very good! Hk style tea and coffee were great! Buns and tarts are freshly baked and made too! Love the club sandwich, simple but satisfied. We went there few times during two nights of stay and we love it! As it is quick and simple! Cash only and no restroom available. ”
